Members from around the world of an international platform for young entrepreneurs, the HUB Network, gathered for the first time at the Hub Summit 2024 - Leading the Frontier on August 28, in a display of the HUB Network’s expansion, which has reached major cities in Vietnam and countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, China, and Singapore.

Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union and Director of the Hanoi Youth Center, highlighted the strategic importance of these countries, describing them as central to fostering strong startup ecosystems, particularly in the field of education, which attracts a significant number of Vietnamese students.

“The event is a crucial step to connect startups, investors, and experts from important global regions, facilitating collaboration and mutual development. It aims to link Vietnamese startups with the international community,” Hung stated.

Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union and Director of the Hanoi Youth Center, delivered the presentation.

Held at the National Innovation Center within the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, the summit represents a significant step in HUB Network’s three-year effort to build a robust startup ecosystem for young entrepreneurs in Vietnam and around the world.

At the event, HUB Network announced the launch of its platform across eight global regions, introducing resources and tools specifically designed to support the startup ecosystem. The platform includes training programs, mentorship, investment connections, and co-working spaces, all aimed at providing young businesses with opportunities for sustainable growth.

Hung added, “Hub Summit 2024 not only marks the global launch of HUB Network but also provides a great opportunity for young startups to connect, share knowledge, and build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem. With support from both domestic and international businesses and organizations, HUB Network is set to become a key platform for those interested in entrepreneurship and innovation.”

Founded on September 29, 2021, HUB NETWORK has grown into a comprehensive network focused on creating opportunities through competitions, projects, and initiatives in entrepreneurship and technology. The network continues to support startups and young enterprises, providing them with the resources and connections necessary for development.

In an interview with The Hanoi Times, Bui Huy Quynh Anh, Chairwoman of HUB USA, discussed her work with HUB Network Vietnam, saying, “I believe that HUB Network Vietnam and I will work towards supporting young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the US by harnessing the economic potential of venture capital. Talent, ideas, and initiatives need access to the necessary funding.”
